| Since Juli posted her costume pictures, I thought that I'd reciprocate and post a couple of one of the costumes I had. The dress was sewn mostly by my mother had mother-of-pearl buttons. The hat was something I researched and made as a project for the program.

| I tried to make a cake, but just when it came time to bake, Ken and I discovered the oven had died. AHHHHH! Oh well. We got to go the Kennedy Center on Saturday for the last weekend of a certain sold-out performance and to watch it from a certain presidential box. :D Then Sunday we pretty much decided on our new church. And that afternoon we had the guys for a WH & EEOB tour followed by supper. No cake, but great corn on the cob. Ken's new favorite song: Space Robot Five by Brave Saint Saturn. |
